Among the worst experiences of my life. It almost killed me. I presented with uncontrollable N/V. Only was admitted when electrolytes became critical and placed on a telemetry unit. Discharged from ER and hospital without any meds for nausea. Bottom line, I had a biliary problem. I agree with another reviewer. I rather die in an ambulance going an hour away from this hospital.

My father went to EC with a UTI, secondary to NO water or power post IRMA. which well there it was recognized that he was in atrial fibrillation. This is confusing to my mom his care giver for more that 60 years and when she tried to get clarification From Dr Curl. This Dr? was rude, she ignored her, and walked away from my 100pound 80 year old mother because she was trying to find out what was happening. To add injury to insult. Sandy the the receptionist, yelled at her for being "TOO Close to the nurses station. And again for standing in the wrong hallway!!!! What kind of customer service and patient care and compassion is going on there.

In particular, nurse Kate on the third floor night shift is one of the most kind and loving people. I trust the well being of mom with every loving thing Kate does for her.

The staff are compassionate. They are gently and lovingly helping transition an angel of love from this world to the next.

God bless this hospital and its staff.

I was i this hospital two times, will unfortunately have to be in at least one more time. ER was wonderful both times. Nursing staff is hit or miss. I had 2 nurse who were trying to put an NG tube in and asked me why it was not done in the ER (how am I supposed to know?) and were not understanding. Had to wait over an hour for medications when I pressed the call button at night. There was no bottom for the bedside commode, so I had to unplug the IV from the wall and walk all the way to the bathroom, 2 days post ventral hernia surgery.

Discharge is a joke. I was told I would be released by noon. I was released at 8 pm, with a prescription for pain medication, which I could not fill until the next day. I had to wait all day for one pain pill, because I was told that they would give me pain medication on discharge.
