I just wanted to Publix at 5:49 PM looking for Popcorn chicken. Some kids had cleaned it out right before I got there in the deli was absolutely packed with people standing in all lines. Kid came to the counter I asked for popcorn chicken and a small one for my daughter and he said I a popcorn chicken. Store trip was made on jul 31 around 4 pm.
The only reason I didn't give Publix a 5-star rating was because they didn't have balloons for anyone over the age of 50! They didn't even have a spot on the rack for balloons with ages over 50. The median age of someone living in Venice is 69 years old and Based on 57.5% of the population is at least 65 years or older you'd expect one of the largest supermarkets in the city to cater their products towards the demographic.
I had to beg her to check the freezer if they have a cake that I wanted. And then to get two cupcakes out of package. I was told publix doesn't do that.
