Needed a car to get to the airport. Rented from local Venice, Florida Avis facility. Easy to get to and was greeted by a friendly staff member who surmised that we were going to the airport and home since we were only renting for the day and dropping it off in Ft. Meyers. Talked with him about New York while he was quickly processing the paperwork and we were on our way. I like the quickness. The location was good. The car was fine. The price was competitive (I checked first). I will use this facility whenever I need a car in Venice.
When my vehicle was found to have less than 7/8 of a tank, the employee said she would take care of it and I should bring it back at the same level. When I dropped the car, the check-in employee knew it was to be around 7/8 full and she gave me a credit since it was full.
Good people, good deals.
The people at this location are awesome. They always have the paperwork and car ready when you walk in the door. I am in and out so quick that I seldom get the chance to chat with them. Best Avis experience possible for this Preferred Member!
