Worst experience! The tire blew out the very next day I had the rental I replaced the tire with a better tire and not only did they charge me the 150$ for another tire they changed my rate from 40$ to 50$ a day! In the mean time of me having the rental because I didn’t have he money to fix my car I parked my car in the parking lot under a tree because my car is black and they had it towed! Johnson towing towed my vehicle and had it for not even 24 hours and charges me 350$ to get my vehicle out so I could rented the rental!!! What a horrible thing to do to someone! Not only am I a single mother on dissablity but I’m homeless! Thought I would be able to move into a new place but that just put my account in the negative like 400$!!!! Thanks HERTZ OF VENICE! And JOHNSONS TOWING!!! You just made it so me and my 14 yr old have another month living in my vehicle that is about to blow up!!
Last minute decision to escape Irma and drive home to PA. First time rental for me and I was nervous and a little scared to say the least. The staff at Hertz made me feel comfortable and confident that I can do this. Dennis even wrote down instructions on the best roads to take me north and I had the paper laying beside me the entire trip.
