Off leash beach. Quaint play area with a handful of picnic tables. Wash area. With great water pressure and clean concrete pads. Great for families. A moderate walk to the shore from the parking lot.
Love it! And so do our dogs! They make friends and we have great conversations with other dog lovers. Plus we can bathe our dogs and get the sand off before getting back in the car!
Great Park to bring your dog. They even have showers near the parking lot for you when you are done swimming and a spray for your dogs to clean them off. Give lots of free poop bags and most people seem to respect that and it was clean and nice and beautiful beach. Not quite white powdery sand like some of the other beaches but nothing to complain about. Fantastic place
Was actually at the beach next to this one(my favorite). The dog owners intruded on our section, the dogs peed in the surf and one pooped. Last time just as I stepped on to the beach, a larger dog charged me growling. It's owner calling him the dog ignored him until I charged the dog. He ran away at that time back to his owner. Wish the dog owners would have more manners, and that last dog should have been held by the leash around his neck! Rude. The other Broward beaches are beautiful. You can see through the water all the way to your toes. Shelling is great. Very relaxing and beautiful beaches despite the above.
Me and my two dogs have been coming here for two years and love it every time. Super clean with a lot of friendly dogs and people! Be prepared for a Sandy towel and bring lots of water for your pups!
